* Interactive Farming Property Visualiser
The project was led by Northern Grampians Shire Council, in partnership with Southern Grampians Shire Council, Borough of Queenscliffe, and Moyne Shire Council. The councils sought an innovative solution to display permit information for large farming properties.
The councils needed an interactive tool to help users navigate a large farming property, including a homestead house, farming equipment, and orchards. The visualiser needed to display permit information such as for barns, sheds, and rainwater tanks. It was important for the councils to have the capability to update annotations and content as needed.
Arvec developed comprehensive 3D models based on the councils ’ specifications, rendering them into high-quality imagery. These were integrated into Arvec’s interactive property visualiser software. The visualiser was embedded on the councils' websites using an iframe, and a backend system was set up to enable developers to update the visualiser content, including annotation positions and text. This allows the councils to provide up-to-date permit information.
