* Interactive Residential Property Visualizer
The project was led by Northern Grampians Shire Council, in collaboration with Southern Grampians Shire Council, Borough of Queenscliffe, and Moyne Shire Council, all located in Victoria, Australia. The councils needed an interactive property visualiser for their website visitors to easily find and read residential property permit information.
The councils required a user-friendly tool to provide permit information such as for trees, swimming pools & spas, garages, retaining walls, and solar panels. Additionally, it was essential for each council to use the same visualiser but include permit information specific to their jurisdiction. The visualiser needed to be editable so that council developers could update annotation positions and content as regulations changed.
Arvec created detailed 3D models based on initial designs provided by the Northern Grampians Shire Council. These models were rendered into high-quality imagery and integrated into Arvec's interactive property visualiser. The visualiser was then embedded on the councils' websites via an iframe. A backend was set up to allow council developers to update text and annotation positions. This allows the councils to provide up-to-date permit information.
